Joanna Read, one of our wonderful customers sent in this photograph with this statement:
"Thought you might like to see what I made with some of your fabric. A bit different to upholstery! The jackets are made from your Henley stripe, but I used the reverse side as the blue side was a bit too shiny. My top tip is to always consider the right and wrong side of fabrics, they don't always work, but sometimes it does! These were made as part of a 1930s dress up collection for a National Trust house. My next project is some soft furnishings for my new conservatory."CONGRATULATIONS JOANNA! You just won 25% off your next order! In The Customer Project of the Week Competition!Inspired by her creativity, and many more of you asking for them and thirst to see more of your wonderful creations (he...he... we're nosy!) we have decided to supply more dress fabrics, so keep an eye out in the next week on the site for their delivery!Excited to see many more new projects arriving in my inbox when these come out!Make sure you share your dress making with us, as well as your curtaining and upholstery projects in the future by: e-mail:firstname.lastname@example.org posting directly onto our facebook page.

Alison Eade- Has done a wonderful job in creating some fabulous projects she sent us, (which will now go into our customer project of the week competition, check it out on our facebook page) an this was the e-mail which arrived with them earlier today, which read:
"Many thanks for making my husband Chris & I so welcome at the mill last Sunday week and for letting me have the run of the fabrics and your ladders. I am delighted with all my purchases and can't wait to make the change over to my new business of 'making' using my new stash.
I make anything really, from upholstery & cushions (chair using wool and 'Harris Tweed') a black Tweed cushion backed with one of your fabrics, a jacket trimmed with one of your fabrics as well as table settings, bags, bedding etc. My new stash from your mill will enable me to be very creative with what is fantastic quality material.
We had a lovely day, wonderful lunch at Mrs Massie's and then a walk around the village green. A delightful village.
Thank you again, our trip was very worthwhile.
Kind regards Alison
